MOSCOW, Feb 26 (PRIME) -- France’s Peugeot-Citroen (PSA Group) will return the Opel brand to the Russian market, PSA Group said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The Group’s aim is to increase its sales outside Europe by 50% by 2021 and to position its brands in new markets: Peugeot in North America, Citroen in India and Opel in Russia, while enhancing… international footprint,” according to a statement published on the official website.
Opel cars have not been sold in Russia since 2015. Earlier, the cars were assembled on Russian plants in St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad.
